About me

My name is Elena. I was born on february 1982 in a lovely town in Tuscany but I discovederd soon that the place where I want to live is the world!

2012 will be a great year because I will turn 30. My working life and education has been completely devoted to the Non profit and NGOs world as I really believe in its power to change.
I obtained my degree in History of Religions at the University of Florence. During this course of studies I also had the opportunity to spend a term in London at the School of African and Oriental studies (SOAS). After my graduation I had some hands-on experience as a volunteer in Ciudad Hidalgo, Mexico. Over the last five years I have been living in Milan. From 2006 to 2009 I worked as Project officer at the Italian Centre for Peace in the Middle East (CIPMO).
Then, I attend the MA Social Enterprise and Non profit Management at SDA Bocconi School of management and as from June 2010 I am  working as junior expert at punto.sud Foundation.
